Request for Information from Lance Reeves for the 70th Anniversary of Saipan

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Lance Reeves, and I work for the Marianas Variety Newspaper in Saipan. I am also on the committee in charge of the 70th Anniversary of Saipan, which will be coming up in June 2014.

I have been given the task of creating a website, which will be the main source of information for the Anniversary, and one of my ideas for it is to have veterans who served on Saipan share their experiences while serving here.

I feel that the best way to understand what had happened here is to hear it form the veterans themselves, and would like to feature a page which people would be able to read their stories and learn more about this battle.
