  2. 28 to 30 July 1944 - Participated in the Battle of Tinian, Marianas Islands.

  3. 31 July 1944 - KIA against an organized enemy of the U.S. on Tinian, Marianas Islands.

  4. 01 August 1944, remains interred in the 4th Marine Division Cemetery on Tinian, Marianas Islands plot #3, row #1, grave #207. Char: Exc. Go 20 does not apply.
